The River City 6 is a Pittsburgh-based brass ensemble formed by several members of the famous River City Brass Band.  Their shows feature selections from classical repertoire as well as samplings of Latin, jazz, and folk music with a tip of the hat to the Broadway tune book.

The River City 6 is the world's largest quintet!  With six members instead of five, we are able to noticeably enhance our sound spectrum.  The RC6 plays a wide variety of musical styles with high-octane energy.  We are all soloists and each of us adds a special stylistic flavor to the mix.  There are moments of great delicacy balances with great power - and some raucous jazz licks contrasted with clean and clear classical execution.  (We'll even sing a few songs for you)  All the members of RC6 are expressive musical artists chocked full of personality and wit.
